Tapered roller bearings are can be dismantled, since the inner ring with the roller and cage assembly can be assembled separately from the outer ring. The modified linear contact between the rollers and the raceway prevents edge stress. Tapered roller bearings support radial and axial loads. Tapered roller bearing units have an integrated seal, are greased and are delivered ready to install. TAROL units (Tapered Roller Bearing) are double-row tapered roller bearings. During manufacture the units are greased, sealed and the play is adjusted and they are supplied with all the necessary retaining elements and fittings. This means that TAROL units are ready to mount and put on an axle journal using a hydraulic press. Special components, spare parts and housing adapters are available on request. TAROL units are used as axlebox bearing supports in all types of rail vehicles. |
